Data protection is important to us. We process personal data only in terms of the current regulations (particularly pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018). Hereinafter we explain in detail, as to how we collect personal data, store and use them and which rights you have as a user.

I. NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROCESSING

II. COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA AS WELL AS NATURE AND PURPOSE OF THEIR USE

1. When visiting the website

By accessing our website www.ssp-hamburg.de automatically information will be sent to the server of our website by the browser to be used on your terminal device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called logfile. In this respect the following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until automatic deletion:

  • IP address of the enquiring computer,
  • Date and time of the access,
  • Name and URL of the accessed file,
  • Website, from which the access took place (referrer URL),
  • Used browser and operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider, where applicable.

The listed data are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Guarantee of a smooth connection of the website,
  • Guarantee of a comfortable use of our website,
  • Analysis of the system safety and system stability as well as
  • for additional administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6 para. 1 page 1 f) DS-GVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung; General Data Protection Regulation). Our justified interest follows from before-stated purposes for data collection. We do not use the collected data to draw conclusions as to you as an individual.

Furthermore, when visiting our website we use cookies as well as analysis services. Further information on this can be found in the figures 7 and 8 of this Data Protection Declaration.

2. Data which you enter into our contact form

Should you address an enquiry to us by way of our contact form, we collect and store the given data as to

  • first name, last name
  • address (optional input)
  • email address and
  • phone number (optional input)

The data will only be stored to process the enquiry and will be deleted after completion of your enquiry or your request. The data shall not be used for other services, unless you explicitly agree to the further use of your data.

Legal basis for the processing of the above personal data is Article 6 para. 1 General Data Protection Regulation (implementation of pre-contractual measures).

3. Disclosure of data

A transmission of your personal data to third parties shall not take place in principle. As an exception we transmit your personal data to third parties in the following cases:

  • if you have given your explicit consent pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 page 1 a) General Data Protection Regulation,
  • the transmission is required for enforcement, exercise or defence of legal claims pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 page 1 f) General Data Protection Regulation and no reason exists to assume, that you have a predominant legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • in case, that a legal obligation exists for the transmission pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 page 1 c) General Data Protection Regulation, as well as
  • this is legally permissible and required pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 page 1 b) General Data Protection Regulation for the execution of contractual relationships with your part.

4. Storage period

Data will only be used as long as this is required for the purposes to pursue.

Personal customer data, which are stored on a customer account, are deleted, if you have not placed any order with us for 10 years and if no further legal retention obligations exist.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files, which your browser automatically creates and which are stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar), when you visit our website. Cookies do not damage your terminal device, are not infected by viruses, trojans or other malicious software.

Information is stored in the cookie, which individually results in connection with the specifically used terminal device. This, however, does not mean, that we directly receive knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies, on the one hand, is to make the use of our offer more comfortable for you. We implement hence so-called session cookies to recognize, that you have already visited individual sites of our website. After exiting our site these are automatically deleted.

For the optimization of the ease of use we furthermore also use temporary cookies, which are stored on your terminal device for a specified period of time. Should you visit our website again to use our services, it is automatically recognized, that you already visited us and which entries and settings you have made, so as not to enter them again.

On the other hand we use cookies, to statistically collect the use of our website and to evaluate for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These cookies facilitate that during a next visit of our site we automatically recognize, that you visited us before. After an individually defined period of time these cookies are automatically deleted.

The data processed by cookies are required for the indicated purposes in order to safeguard our justified interests as well as those of third parties pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 page 1 f) General Data Protection Regulation.

Most of the browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you may configure your browser in such a way, that no cookies are stored on your computer or that you are always asked for permission before a new cookie is stored. The full deactivation of cookies, however, may have the consequence that you are unable to use all functions of our website.

5. Google Analytics

For the purpose of the appropriate design and continuous optimization of our websites we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”). In this connection pseudomyzed use profiles are created and cookies are used (see under figure 4). The information gathered by cookies on your use of this website like

  • browser type/browser version,
  • used operating system,
  • referrer URL (the website visited before),
  • host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • time of the server request,

are transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored over there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to gather reports on the website activities and to provide further services related to the website use and the internet use for purposes of the market analysis and appropriate design of these internet sites. Where appropriate, this information is also transferred to third parties, if prescribed by law or if third parties process these data on instructions. In no case your IP address is merged with other data of Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that an allocation is not possible (IP Masking).

You can prevent the installation of the cookies by an appropriate adjusting of the browser software; however, we point out, that in such case you are unable to use full functions of this website.

Moreover, you can prevent the collection of data created by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (inclusive of your IP address) as well as the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing a browser-add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

5. Your Rights

You have the right:

  • to request information on your personal data processed by us pursuant to Article 15 General Data Protection Regulation. Particularly you are entitled to request information on the processing purposes, the category of the personal data, the categories of recipients, to whom the data has been disclosed or will be disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of the processing or objection, the existence of a right to appeal, the origin of your data, unless they were collected by us, as well as on the existence of an automated decision-making including profiling and significant information on their details, where applicable;
  • to request the rectification of inaccurate data or completion of your personal data stored with us pursuant to Article 16 General Data Protection Regulation;
  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored with us pursuant to Article 17 General Data Protection Regulation, unless the processing to execute the right to freedom of expression and information, to satisfy a legal obligation, is required for reasons of public interest or enforcement, execution or defence of legal claims;
  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 18 General Data Protection Regulation, insofar as the rectification of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, however, you refuse their deletion and we no longer need the data, you, however, need them for enforcement, execution or defence of legal claims or you lodged an appeal against the processing pursuant to Article 21 General Data Protection Regulation;
  • to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, common and machine-readable form pursuant to Article 20 General Data Protection Regulation or to request the transmission to another responsible person;
  • to revoke your consent once given to us at any time pursuant to Article 7 para. 3 General Data Protection Regulation. This has the consequence, that we are not permitted to continue any longer in the future with the data processing, on which this consent was based, and
  • insofar your personal data are processed by means of justified interests pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 page 1 f) General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to lodge an appeal against the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 21 General Data Protection Regulation, if and when reasons exist caused by your specific situation or the appeal is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without statement of a specific situation.

Pursuant to Article 77 General Data Protection Regulation you are furthermore entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual residence or workplace or our registered office.

6. Data Security

When visiting our website we use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the individually highest encryption being supported by your browser.

Furthermore, we use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulations, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access of third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with the technological development.

7. State and Alteration of the Data Protection Declaration

This data protection declaration is the current valid version at May 2018.

The right is reserved to make alterations of the data protection declaration, which are required due to alterations of our processing practice or an alteration of statutory regulations.
